Time is flying by SO fast!! The day after Hudson turned 7, this sweet boy turned 5 months old. He still has a fascination with the camera, which makes taking pictures of him a little challenging, but here are a few. He is still continuing to do SO much better with his milk protein allergy and reflux...hooray!! He also now only has to go to therapy for his swallowing/aspiration issues every other week and they are hoping to move it to once a month soon. Another hooray!! He is a smiley, slobbery little thing that is constantly putting his hands in his mouth. He LOVES to be held and would be happy being held all day long. He really only fusses when he is hungry or tired. His napping during the day is only about 30-45 minutes at a time and he still loves to wake up at night. (Fun times!) His favorite thing by far right now is Peek-A-Boo...that gets the.biggest.smiles EVER!! He is such a joy and completes our family perfectly!

SEVEN years old!!!
Wednesday, August 13th, Hudson turned SEVEN years old! I'm not sure why, but 7 seems so much older to me than 6. Maybe because it is nearing 10?? With my love of birthdays, we celebrated ALL day!! I'm just glad at this age he likes to be with family all day on his birthday. :)
He woke up to this:
After seeing the table and having breakfast, we wanted to watch a cartoon. I think Holden was trying to get in on the TV action. Sorry little brother, no TV for you!
After getting dressed, he was ready to open presents. I was surprised he waited that long. He definitely didn't get that from me...I'm ready to open presents the second I see them. Ha!
My BIG boy and I!
Mommy did good with this gift! It isn't often that you see this face!! He has been really into his Nerf dart guns lately and I found a zombie target. Looks gross to me, but it was one of his favorite gifts. Gotta love boys!
After opening gifts, we headed to our summer movie and then had Arby's (Hudson's pick) for lunch with friends. After that we came home and he was ready to play with some of his new How to Train Your Dragon toys!
After playing, we had a sno-cone and then had his birthday dinner with Daddy and Noni. After dinner, he blew out candles on his dessert. (The ice cream was melting BAD!)
Happy #7 my sweet BIG boy!!! I love you more than words can say!!!

Baptism Picture Outtakes
In preparing for Holden's baptism, I needed to get a picture for the screen in the church sanctuary. This sweet boy has a hard time smiling when he sees the camera. He will smile and smile until the camera comes out and then he just stares at the camera. Toot!! These are just a few of the pictures I took until I finally got a smiling one!
Finally! It literally took all day, but I got one! :)
Schlitterbahn!
August 7th, we headed to Schlitterbahn with Paw-Paw and Nana. Hudson didn't really understand why we were all so excited to go to a water park, but caught on really quickly once we arrived. We stayed at the park and had an absolute blast!! Sadly, I only have this one picture from the weekend...it was kind of hard to swim and take pictures at the same time!
Hudson was totally in his element...the adults took turns staying with Holden while the rest of us went and rode rides with Hudson. It was a fabulous weekend!!
Holden's Room
I'm FINALLY getting around to post pictures of Holden's room. I went very simple and clean with his room and I loved the way it turned out! It is a little hard to see the bedding because of how high the mattress is, but there is grosgrain ribbon at the bottom of the bed skirt and all around the bumper. I painted the canvas that is over his crib and love the way it turned out!!
Rice Cereal
Monday, July 28th we gave Holden rice cereal for the first time. He did NOT know what to think about it! I'm pretty sure by the look on his face he was not a fan though. :)
Sweet boy wondering what in the world we were giving him!!
