Luke's Baptism

We headed up to Oklahoma for Luke's baptism on May 24th. It was Holden's first trip to Oklahoma and he finally got to meet Aunt Shani, Uncle Todd, Luke, and Mamaw!
The Lannert Family
 Happy Luke after church.
After church, Shani and Todd had everyone over for lunch.  It was so nice to sit and visit and I think everyone enjoyed passing the babies around.  :)
Aunt Shani with Hudson and Holden.
 Hudson and Aunt Fern
 Hudson with the babies.  :)

Paw-Paw wanted a picture with his boys, but only Hudson was cooperating.  :)  Holden was having NONE of it!

Last Soccer Game

Hudson had his last soccer game on May 17th.  He absolutely LOVES soccer and was sad the season was over.  No worries...we have signed him up for a soccer camp this summer and he is already registered for Fall soccer!  :)  He told us the other day that he wants to play soccer as his job when he grows up.  Hmm...we've got a lot of practice to do!
There's our #6 in about to kick the ball.
He and Jordan on the sidelines.
Sweet Kylie surprised him by coming to his last game.  Love her!
 Team Picture:
Coach Kelly (AKA Daddy) Coach Matt
Jordan, John, J'Paul, Zachary
Hudson, Cooper, Riley, Greyson
We had their team party after their game with pizza, cookies, and a trophy presentation.
The dads were taking a break at the party!
It was such a fun season and Daddy and Coach Matt have signed up to coach again in the Fall with all of the players returning.  Can't wait to watch the Little Monsters in September!

2 Months!

I am extremely late in posting this, but this sweet little guy turned two months on April 14th. He is growing like a weed...he doubled his birth weight (10 pounds, 15 ounces) and grew 3 inches (21.5) since his birth at his two month appointment.  Crazy!!  He was officially diagnosed with reflux this month and is on his third medication for it.  Third times a charm, right?  He started enjoying his bath and began smiling and talking a little bit.  He still prefers to be held over anything and is still sleeping in his papasan chair because of his reflux.  He has many years to sleep in a bed, right?!?!  He is still such a snuggler and has completed our family perfectly!!!  LOVE him!!!

Bath time!

Holden still isn't too sure of his bath, but he doesn't scream the whole time anymore either.  He just looks concerned most of the time!

His favorite part is definitely getting out of the tub and snuggling up in a towel. :)

Wedding Weekend

This past weekend we headed to Austin for Kelly's nephew's wedding.  It was BEAUTIFUL!!  Here are Marcus and Lizzie saying their vows.
The new Mr. and Mrs.  :)
Seriously breathtaking!  I just had to snap a picture after everyone had filed out.
Holden spent the entire ceremony and most of the reception asleep.  Sweet baby.

I asked Tara to take a picture of Kelly and I and she said she needed to take another one.  I wonder why...Todd the photo bomber!
Hudson did NOT want his picture taken, can you tell?
He was ALL smiles after being attacked by Aunt Tara and Uncle Todd though.
So glad we could be there to celebrate Marcus and Lizzie!

Meet Shaggy

Friday, May 9th, the Kindergartners were supposed to choose a cartoon/movie character to dress up as for school.  Without hesitation, Hudson said he wanted to dress up like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.  Yes, I finally gave in a few months ago and let him watch Scooby Doo...needless to say the boy is obsessed.  I have to say, he looked pretty cute with his drawn on whiskers and messy hair.  :)

Sleeping on Daddy

Last week I caught Daddy and Holden snoozing together on the couch and just had to run and get the camera.  Why is it that Daddy is always the one caught asleep with the little ones?  :)
 He was sleeping hard.
