We started our Easter weekend off this year by going to our church's Easter Eggstravaganza like we do every year. Before the hung began, Hudson gave me his best sad face while holding his empty basket. Nut!
When the race began, he was like a machine! It was hilarious!! I have never seen a kid pick up eggs so fast in my life! Gone are the days of my timid boy wanting help picking up eggs. :)
He was very proud of his FULL basket!
The next morning, he awoke to find his basket filled with some fun goodies.
He was really excited about the glow bubbles! (Mommy is pretty excited about these too!!)
After a beautiful church service, we came home to dye eggs and eat lunch. Hudson loved the superhero swim towel that Noni brought him.
My friend Leslie joined us for lunch this year...what a special treat! :)
Since we woke to POURING rain this year, we had our egg hunt in the house since our backyard looked like a swamp! Hudson loved all of the tricky places we kept hiding eggs and we had hunts over and over and over again!
It was an absolute wonderful day celebrating our Risen Savior! Hudson told me when he went to bed that night that he was sad Easter was over...precious!
