Signs of a Wonderful Thanksgiving...

A few signs of a wonderful Thanksgiving:
Being surrounded by family.
Having more blessings than you can count.
Having a tummy so full of turkey and pie that you fall asleep on the couch:

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving today! :)

Curious George Live!

If you know Hudson, you know he LOVES Curious George. So, when Paw-Paw and Nana found out that Curious George Live was coming to Dallas, they just had to get tickets.
Hudson just had to take one of his Curious George friends with him to the show. (Yes, by with him I do mean that he actually went IN the show with us!)
Hudson carefully examined the tickets on the way to see if we were actually going to get to see Curious George in person.
The show DID NOT disappoint!! Hudson was MESMERIZED the entire time. It seriously was the sweetest feeling watching him watch the show. Seeing it through his eyes was truly priceless!

See? I told you his face was priceless:

Thank you Paw-Paw and Nana for taking Hudson to see Curious George Live...it was absolutely wonderful!

Going Bonkers!!

Today we met our friends Colleen & Reid at the funnest place ~ Going Bonkers! The boys had SUCH a good time climbing, running, and playing. Reid was definitely the more adventurous one today...the boy had NO FEAR and was climbing with the big kids. Hudson was more comfortable on the slide and playing with the toys that took quarters...go figure!

This was as high as Hudson got. He was very excited that Reid got so high though.
Ready to come down.
While Hudson enjoyed these types of toys, look how far Reid made it:
Seriously, he was on the second level.

Sweet boys driving the car. Thanks friends for such a fun morning!! Hudson and I will definitely have to try Going Bonkers again sometime soon!

Good Morning Hudson. REALLY?!?

So, I walk into Hudson's room to get him this morning and I see that he has unzipped his pajamas. Well, that isn't ALL he had done actually. When I got closer I realized that the only part of his body still in his footed pj's was his arms. Yes, he was naked as a jaybird other than that. No diaper. His pj's just flowed behind him like a cape. It was lovely. Then he said these 4 wonderful words, "Pee pee in bed." Yes, my friends...after he attempted to strip down he decided he should "pee pee in bed" since he didn't have a diaper on anymore. Of course, why wouldn't a 2 year old do that?
This is the exact look he was giving me when I had first walked in. He was so proud of himself. This is him smiling at his diaper. (Thankfully all he had done was tee tee!!!)
I have learned a lesson from this though...for some reason this pair of pj's doesn't have the little snap that goes across his zipper...we won't be buying those anymore!!

Conversations with Hudson...

Hudson and I have conversations daily that CRACK ME UP. I mean, he will be talking and I will just burst out laughing, which most of the time results in him laughing too. I decided I need to start writing some of these down so I don't forget them. Here are 3 recent conversations that make me smile:

During breakfast last week:
Hudson: Paw-Paw and Nana?
Mommy: Yes, Paw-Paw and Nana are in Oklahoma. Do you need more milk?
Hudson: Nana do it.
Mommy: Hudson, Nana can't do it because she is in Oklahoma.
Hudson: Paw-Paw do it.
Mommy: Paw-Paw can't do it either Hudson. (Before I could finish...)
Hudson: Yes, Paw-Paw golfing.

Seriously?? My little guy already knows Paw-Paw is an avid golfer??

Sitting on the floor playing when Husdon got in my lap, faced me, and started playing with my necklace:
Hudson: Mommy's necklace.
Mommy: Yes, that is Mommy's necklace.
(Hudson found a hair on my shirt.)
Hudson: Mommy's hair.
Mommy: Yes, that is a hair that fell out.
Hudson: I put it back. (While putting the hair on top of my head!!)

Silly man!

Pulling the trashcan back into the garage:
Hudson: White on there.
Mommy: Yes, there is a white spot on top of the trashcan.
Hudson: Snowman did it.

Oh, silly boy...a snowman did it? Really?!? Did I mention he has been very in to snowmen lately.

So there you have it, some recent conversations with Hudson. I hope he'll always be this entertaining! :)

Ride It!

Hudson constantly "rides" things. Not necessarily things that are supposed to be ridden either, although he has plenty of ride on toys, a stick horse and things of that nature. No, my little guy thinks outside the box and makes me laugh all the time. His newest "ride on toy" is the trash can liner. The second I have it out to empty the trash he jumps on it and starts riding it around the kitchen. I LOVE his imagination! You crack me up little man!
