Celebrating Easter

We started celebrating Easter a few weeks ago. Our first event was an Easter egg hunt with our playgroup. Look how many kids there are now (and this is minus 4 of them)!! They are all such sweet friends...I love it!

My little monkey would be to the far left saying he didn't want to sit...stinker!

This past Saturday we went to the Easter Eggstravaganza at our church. Such a fun tradition!

I think Hudson loved the bounce houses more than the egg hunt!

Posing with his friend Ella right before the egg hunt.

The first thing he wanted to do Easter morning was open his last Resurrection Egg. This is the first year we did this and it was AMAZING! By Sunday, Hudson could open each egg and tell you what the item meant...hearing him tell us the story of the resurrection of Jesus is truly one of the sweetest things ever.

The first thing he said to his Sunday school teacher when he walked in was, "Jesus is Alive!" He then proceeded to tell her all about his last egg being empty. LOVE IT!

After that, he ran to the front door to see what was in his Easter basket. He even wanted to take his goodies to church, but we finally convinced him that wasn't a good idea!

A few shots before we left for the day. Love him!

That afternoon, he died eggs and we had an egg hunt at home.

After finding eggs once, he hid them over and over for us to find. Sweet boy! Such a great Easter this year!!

Washing his ride!

A few weeks ago, Hudson wanted to go for a wagon ride and when he saw some dirt in it, he decided he needed to wash it. It was so cute watching him wash it with Daddy's help!

He made sure to get every tire!

Clean and shiny!

Working with Paw-Paw

Last weekend while in Oklahoma, Hudson got to "help" Paw-Paw with some jobs in the yard. He was so excited to "work" with Paw-Paw and I think Paw-Paw was thrilled to have an extra set of little hands. :)

First up, cleaning the pool. Next, riding on the lawn mower. Can you tell how happy this made him?!?

Look who's driving! No hands from Paw-Paw!
Such fun for a 3 1/2 year old!

Disney on ICE!!!

This past Friday morning, we loaded Hudson up for a big surprise...going to see Disney on Ice...Toy Story 3! He was SO EXCITED! I'm not going to lie, I was pretty excited too. I remember going to see Disney on Ice when I was a kid and was hoping that he would love it as much as I did. Let's just say that it did not disappoint. Hudson was MESMERIZED the entire time. It was so fun to watch it through his eyes. On the way out, he asked if we could go back! :)

This was his face the entire time...soaking up every last minute!

He was super excited when Buzz Lightyear made his appearance... Andy's toys

We had to snap a few family pics at intermission. Our boy was being a little silly!
Hudson is a HUGE Mickey Mouse fan, so he was thrilled when Mickey and the gang came out at the end of intermission.
Had to get a pic of Lotzo.
SUCH a fun morning!!! I absolutely love things like this...they won't last forever, so I am soaking up every bit of it with my little man!
