This weekend, we headed up to Oklahoma to celebrate my birthday. Driving over 3 hours with an active one year old is definitely different from the sleeping in the car for hours baby we used to have! After what seemed like 10 hours in the car we made it and Hudson was extremely happy to be out of his car seat! Saturday morning I woke up and opened my big gift...an embroidery machine...if I could type with excitment you would see that now. :) As excited as I was about my new toy, Hudson was excited about the box...
Yea...thanks for the cool box!!!(If you are wondering, he has medicine on his face.)
That evening we went to a Japanese Steak House (one of my favorite foods) for dinner. I thought Hudson would just love the chef cooking on the table. Well, he wasn't too sure about it. The fire and the noise scared him a little. I still think he'll enjoy it one day!

He had this look on his face the entire time...he looked so concerned.
This afternoon before we left Hudson had us cracking up as usual. He kept sticking his face in this metal bowl and "talking" in it. Then he would look up, smile, and do it again. He is just too cute!!
This is his "kiss" face. He has started making this face if you make a "kiss" face to him! :)All in all, it was a great birthday spent with family!

That kiss face is so kissable and cute! Caroline saw his picture when I was checking your blag, she asked what the little boy's name. I told her, now she is talking about "Husband", she can't say it! So, we hope Husband has a nice day! Ha
