This past Wednesday, Paw-Paw and Nana came for an extended weekend visit. They wanted to do some fun things while they were here and when we asked Hudson what he wanted to do, he immediately said that he wanted to go to Amazing Jakes (shocker!) and the zoo. So, that is just what we did...along with a few other surprises.
First up, Amazing Jakes. Even though a lot of the things here are for older kids, Hudson asks to go here ALL the time. One of his favorite things to do is bowl and he is getting good at it. He'll be ready for the real thing in no time!
Next up, the zoo. The weather was perfect!

Side note: if you haven't been to the Dallas zoo recently, you need to go and check out their new exhibit. It is amazing!
Funny...when we asked Hudson what his favorite thing at the zoo was he said the Carousel. Nice...could have just taken him to Stonebriar! Ha!
Hudson's surprise for the weekend was going to Medieval Times. Oh my goodness...he LOVED it!!!! He is already asking when we are going to go back.
He really got the hang of cheering for our knight.
