My child who plays with nothing for more than 5 minutes most of the time played with this balloon for a solid 45 minutes today. Isn't it always the little things?!? :)

"I want to watch George now." ~ Hudson
Hudson is very much a routine kid. (Hmm...I wonder where he gets that from!) He has started his own little routine over the past few months. EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING. when he is done eating breakfast, he hops down and says, "I want to watch George now." He then proceeds to get his own George and his Thomas blanket and snuggle up on the couch while he watches Curious George. The kid is seriously a nut about Curious George! We have quite a few recorded (LOVE DVR) so he even gets to continue his little routine on the weekend. I snapped a few pictures this morning so I can remember this cute little routine he created for himself! :)

A "Showery" Weekend
This past weekend we headed up to Oklahoma for my sister's bridal shower. It rained the ENTIRE weekend, so Hudson was cooped up inside at Paw-Paw & Nana's house. This didn't stop him from having fun though. Nana was wrapping some gifts for Shani Saturday morning and gave Hudson the box full of packing peanuts that the china came in and the child WENT TO TOWN! He had lots of help from Uncle Geoffrey!

Easter 2010
What a weekend!! Our Easter weekend was busy from start to finish and I think Hudson enjoyed every minute of it! It started on Friday evening when we took him to see the Easter bunny. He was SO EXCITED until he got about 2 feet away from the bunny and he FROZE! Wouldn't. move. a. muscle! After much persuasion, he refused to sit next to the bunny even though he smiled and gave high-fives. So, what should have been a picture of Hudson and the bunny ended up being a family photo. Lovely!

We hope you all had a blessed Easter 2010!
