This past weekend, we headed to the lake for the 4th of July. Hudson is officially a lake rat! He LOVED the lake!!! It is so fun seeing him enjoy something that I enjoyed growing up...makes me smile. :)
We shot fireworks and did sparklers in our jammies one night.
Hudson tried his best to catch a fish on the shore without any luck, but finally managed to catch a baby frog. He was so excited and didn't hesitate to grab the frog and play with it before returning him to the grass.
There was of course a LOT of being launched into the water by Daddy and Paw-Paw.
The highlight of the weekend was tubing for the first time. He belly laughed the entire time!!
He now has the tubing bug and has asked many times when we get to go back to the lake. Needless to say, we already have a date on the calendar and I'm sure he will want to go tubing the minute we get there. :)
