Surprise Paw-Paw!

Last weekend we headed to Oklahoma for Paw-Paw's surprise 60th birthday party. Since we had recently been up there, we decided to stay at Shani & Todd's so Paw-Paw wouldn't catch on. Hudson was so excited to get to stay at Aunt Shani & Uncle Todd's house...this was a first! :) They of course spoiled him rotten...complete with s'mores after a pizza dinner Friday night.

The next morning while Aunt Shani was on her bike ride, Uncle Todd was brave enough to swim with Hudson. The water was COLD, but neither of them seemed to mind. Thanks Uncle Todd...this mommy and daddy were VERY happy to not have to get in the water!

The next day we got to the party and Hudson had a little snuggle time with Nana before the party began.

Hudson had such a great experience his first year of "school" this year and I know it was because of his awesome teachers! Even though he told me (many mornings!) that he'd rather stay home with me, these sweet ladies took him under their wings and loved him. I am so grateful that he was placed in their room this year!

Happy Mother's Day to ME!

Two years ago I started a little tradition for myself. I decided that as a Mother's Day gift to myself each year I would have a picture taken of just Hudson and I. I am normally behind the camera and good pictures of us are sometimes few and far between. So, as long as he will let me, this will be our little tradition. :) I am one lucky mommy to have this precious little boy be all mine!!!

Fun with Friends!

Last month we went to the Village Beach Club with Colton and Brody to celebrate their birthdays. This is seriously one of Hudson's favorite places to be and he loved playing with Colton! Sweet little Brody got brave enough to crawl across the sand and Hudson and Colton just had to get in on the action. Hilarious!

After playing, and playing, and playing we went to Purple Cow to get some ice cream. The boys were making their funniest faces while we waited. Hmm...

ALL Boy!

Sometimes, it amazes me how ALL BOY Hudson is. The other day I was watching him play and he lined up all of his Toy Story characters and then started using his Buzz Lightyear laser to shoot them all down. Yep, even the "good" guys!

He is such a BOY and I love it!

One last hunt...with a puppy...

This past weekend, we headed up to Oklahoma to visit family. It was one of those nice visits, where we didn't go for any reason in particular...just to visit. SO nice to not rush around the whole time we are there! I didn't take many pictures, but I did capture the cutest thing. Aunt Fern brought Hudson an Easter basket since she didn't get to see him over Easter weekend. He had so much fun going on yet another Easter egg hunt, only this time he had a friend...
