Celebrating Easter

We started celebrating Easter a few weeks ago. Our first event was an Easter egg hunt with our playgroup. Look how many kids there are now (and this is minus 4 of them)!! They are all such sweet friends...I love it!

My little monkey would be to the far left saying he didn't want to sit...stinker!

This past Saturday we went to the Easter Eggstravaganza at our church. Such a fun tradition!

I think Hudson loved the bounce houses more than the egg hunt!

Posing with his friend Ella right before the egg hunt.

The first thing he wanted to do Easter morning was open his last Resurrection Egg. This is the first year we did this and it was AMAZING! By Sunday, Hudson could open each egg and tell you what the item meant...hearing him tell us the story of the resurrection of Jesus is truly one of the sweetest things ever.

The first thing he said to his Sunday school teacher when he walked in was, "Jesus is Alive!" He then proceeded to tell her all about his last egg being empty. LOVE IT!

After that, he ran to the front door to see what was in his Easter basket. He even wanted to take his goodies to church, but we finally convinced him that wasn't a good idea!

A few shots before we left for the day. Love him!

That afternoon, he died eggs and we had an egg hunt at home.

After finding eggs once, he hid them over and over for us to find. Sweet boy! Such a great Easter this year!!
