Aunt Tara!

This past Friday night, we got a very special treat. Aunt Tara was in town for a conference and was able to meet us for dinner and come over for a little bit afterwards. Hudson was beyond excited to have his Aunt Tara all to himself! He requested to sit next to her in the booth at dinner and loved playing with her before bed. She even swaddled him...

Four AND a half!

Last Monday, February 13th was Hudson's half birthday. We had such a busy day that day with our Playgroup Valentine party that night, that we decided to celebrate it on Valentine's Day instead. We had our traditional heart pizza from Papa Murphy's and then surprised Hudson with a special dessert when he got out of the bathtub. We had him cover his eyes and sit at the table...

...and this was his priceless expression when he opened his eyes! He was beyond excited to blow out candles for his half birthday!!

He now PROUDLY says he is four AND a half when asked how old he is. Love it!

10 Year Anniversary!!!

This Thursday, Kelly and I celebrate our TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! I don't even feel old enough to say that!! To celebrate, we went to Hot Springs last weekend. It was such a wonderful, relaxing weekend. We stayed at a lovely Bed and Breakfast, had tons of yummy dinners out, and even enjoyed a couples bath and massage at the Quapaw Bath House. It truly was a perfect weekend and a great way to celebrate the past ten years!

Playgroup Valentine's Party!

Cara hosted the sweetest Valentine's Party for our playgroup this Monday. It is amazing to me to see how quickly the kids are growing up and how many of them there are now!! They play SO WELL together and had just as good a time as the mommies did!! Hudson and I are beyond blessed to have all of them in our lives!!

Teddy Bear Day

Last week, Hudson had teddy bear day at school. He got to wear his jammies and take a teddy bear to school. They did some of the funnest stuff too...had a teddy bear picnic and even did an obstacle course with their teddy bears. SO FUN!! I think we all need a teddy bear day every once in a while. :)
